We like to think that our lives are rooted in that bucolic small town at the turn of the century, c. 1900. You pull your horse & buggy up to the dry goods store for supplies. The breeze is warm, the sun is out, and things seem easy. At the end of the street, just by the turn, we see, maybe you did too, the railroad trestle, waiting to change things into the 20th century. There is always another technology, no matter the century.

Artist Bio:
Peter Astor was reborn when he discovered art. His prior professional life was filled with ideas he created in his mind, which helped others find solutions to complicated problems. His love of drawing and painting allowed him to express the feeling more simply, with shape, texture and color. He is inspired by the juxtaposition of struggle and freedom, chaos and order, distortion and beauty. There is always a story behind each painting.
