This piece was inspired by a desire to remind Black women that they are beautiful just as they are, without needing cosmetic surgery or layers of makeup to meet society’s expectations. Flite Robinson celebrates natural features, individuality, and self-acceptance, encouraging Black women to recognize the beauty they already possess. Vibrant collage, floral embellishments, and the affirmation “be YOU tiful” create an uplifting experience, making this piece a meaningful addition to a bedroom, dressing area, or living space.

Flite Robinson is a mixed-media artist from New Jersey who draws inspiration from Black culture, faith, fatherhood, and everyday experiences. Through layered collage, bold colors, and textured surfaces, his work explores identity, resilience, and the stories within our communities, bringing over 15 years of fashion design experience into his art.
