Dusk with Ducks (and Heron)
Dusk with Ducks (and Heron)
Jen Martin
Photography (archival pigment print on acid-free fine art paper)
Taken at Edgemont Pond in Montclair, New Jersey, this photograph captures a moment at dusk when puffy clouds hovered over the rippled water, ducks glided by, and a blue heron strolled along the water’s edge. The moment felt like an exhale, a glimpse of the steady, unhurried peace the natural world can offer, often just around the corner from home.
