Four Sardines
Stephanie Six
These pieces are inspired by a trip to Portugal, where sardines and tinned fish are a beloved part of the culture. I’ve always loved how the fish nestle snugly in their tins, like they’re tucked into little sleeping bags. There’s something grounding about that closeness: being held, having a place, and settling comfortably among others.
The bright colors, intimate scale and lively fish would look great in a kitchen. The frame is white painted wood.
