Genius
Etugo Nwokah
Oil on Canvas
Genius was created to inspire others to find why they exist and what their unique offering to the world is. Dug Ivy renders a familiar face of brilliance alongside a hand-lettered reminder that genius isn’t reserved — it lives in everyone, waiting to be recognized. Warm, weathered tones and a touch of comic-strip wit give the piece a playful yet thought-provoking presence, well suited to a study, office, or any space meant to spark ideas.

Artist Bio:
Etugo, the artist behind Dug Ivy, is a Nigerian-British painter based in Maplewood, NJ, whose work blends gritty street art imagery and multicultural subjects. As a first-generation immigrant who grew up in the Midwest, he draws on his distinct upbringing for ideas that are sometimes edgy, sometimes humorous, and always meant to be thought-provoking. Working in oil paint thinned to behave like watercolor, he creates layered, colorful pieces shaped by art, conversation, music, and fashion from his travels around the world.
