Serenity
Serenity
Mary Shadbolt
Acrylic on paper
"Serenity" was created and inspired by the symbolism behind eucalyptus leaves. These leaves have primarly represented healing, protection and renewal. In modern times they are frequently used on bouquets as a sign of peace and prosperity. You will find them in my botanical works often as their broad leaves lend a wonderful play of positive and negative space.
