Sweet Gum at Grove Park
Sweet Gum at Grove Park
Jessica Ford
Oil on canvas
This sweet gum tree has been posing for a summer portrait for decades. It's one of the many grand, mature trees that gives the north side of Grove Park its beautiful filtered sunlight. The relief provided by that rich canopy is appreciated by those on both the walking path and the playground, and everywhere in between.
